How to Bleed a Hope 4 pot rear brake

Most Rear Calipers sit on the frame with front Bleed nipple down lower than the rear.

1. Remove rear wheel, pump brake until pads touch.
2. Invert the caliper upwards, same position as the front (gentle tap)
3. then push the bottom pistons back 1st,
4. then push the top pistons back
   any air it now in the line.
   
   If you are pushing fluid up to the Master Cylinder with a syringe,
   As the reservoir near fills to the top, flick the lever a couples of times to remove air bubbles from behind main seal.

Suggestions

• If you are using a syringe, Be sure to tap out all the small air bubbles 1st
• BPC must be screwed out
• When refitted bladder/cover, narrow end last with no air in the system.
• Ensure all 4 pistons are home when sealing Master Cylinder cover.
