With the Bosch Interface rear-plug, the cables exits at the bottom of the interface.
What works best for your E-bike is depending on how you mount the arm-holder on the handlebar. If the arm-holder is mounted pointing up, with the display at the top of the handlebar, it is recommended using an interface with the rear plug.
