Sulphur point
A beautiful trail that snakes between geothermal wonders before opening up to expose the magnificent views over Lake Rotorua and the township. Right on our doorstep, it’s a short five-minute ride from our shop. Sulphur Point lives up to its name, with some magnificent examples of steaming vents and boiling mud pools, sitting right on the shores of Lake Rotorua.

Kuirau Park
A great extension to riding around government gardens and past the lakefront, Kuirau Park exhibits hot springs, geothermal foot baths, picnic tables & a playground. Treat yourself to a few home baked treats on Saturday morning by visiting the pop-up market. Great for families and an awesome way to get up close with the natural geothermal wonders that Rotorua is so well known for.

Government Gardens and The Lakefront
See some of Rotorua's most iconic landmarks by bike. Explore Rotorua’s historical Museum, The Blue Bath House, Prince's Arch Gateway and Arawa War Memorial. Then meander around the geothermal lined shoreline, discovering a carved wooden Waka (canoe), Lakeland Queen paddleboat, seaplanes and Hehu Karaiti

Mokopuna Trail
This smooth trail boasts hard-packed gravel, passing through beautiful mature Douglas Fir, Larch and Redwood forest, combined with an understory of magnificent Punga tree ferns.
This 3.6-kilometre track is perfect for the whole family and is a great way to extend your ride from Sulphur Point into the foot of the Whakarewarewa Forest.
