Bosch Gen 5 CX 45 km/h Software Update

available from 7 July

The official Bosch 45 km/h software update is available from 7 July for eligible Bosch Smart System e-bikes.

If your bike is fitted with a compatible Gen 5 motor system, you can book in with EBR to have the update completed.

This update is available for the following Bosch Smart System motors:

Not sure if your bike is compatible? You can check your motor system in the Bosch Flow app, or contact our team and we'll be happy to help.

The update process is completed in two stages:

Book your E-bike into the EBR workshop from 7 July.
We'll connect your bike and submit a change request to Bosch.
Once Bosch approves the request (this may take a couple of business days), we'll contact you to arrange the software update.
Bring your bike back to the workshop and we'll complete the update.

You can either leave your bike with us while the request is being processed or collect it and return once approval has been received.
