MEET THE EBR TEAM

With a strong background in events, management and service industries, Joe looks after the front of house operations and pushes objectives to ensure that we are meeting and exceeding our clients expectations. With a passion for both mountain biking and anything with a motor, Joe has found his mecca in Rotorua.

In charge of looking after the back end, marketing and keeping the boys in line (not an easy feat). Frankie is qualified with a bachelor in business studies, majoring in sport management. With a strong background in tourism and customer service, Frankie looks after many of our booking requests and her knowledge of the forest and love of nature is always there to help you make the most from your day. She'll find a way to get you out on a bike!

Michelle fell in love with mountain biking in New Zealand. Coming from The Netherlands where there are mainly flat trails, riding in New Zealand made her realise this is 'The Place To Be'.

The great variety of trails in Rotorua helped her pumping up her bike skills.

With her Bachelor in Business Management, Michelle loves to support the team in different aspects and improve processes. Her main focus is maintaining the website and marketing projects.

Rodney is a true bike enthusiast who enjoys riding all types of bikes, from road bikes to mountain bikes, including the E-bike. He takes part in various riding events across New Zealand, with his most challenging event so far being 'Ride the Wilderness' on the West Coast of the South Island.

When he's not out riding or enjoying his time off work, you can find Rodney in the EBR workshop, applying his skills as an experienced mechanic to keep all bikes in top condition.

Oli has recently moved to Rotorua to be closer to the amazing trail network the area offers. He lives and breathes bikes, and his knowledge and experience in the bike industry are great assets to the team.

You can find him in the forest, ripping and exploring the trails most days. His favourite E-bike to ride from EBR is the Whyte E-lyte, which he loves for its lightweight and playful nature. 

Nohnie is the Operations and Finance Support at Electric Bike Rotorua. New to New Zealand, Nohnie is loving the adventure of exploring a beautiful country and working with an awesome team. What started as a fun biking hobby has now turned into an exciting role in the e-bike world! When not crunching numbers behind the scenes, Nohnie enjoys discovering Rotorua’s scenic trails and soaking up the local vibe.

Felipe brings his love of bikes straight out of Chile – you can find him in the workshop of the EBR HQ, working his mechanical magic on all of the bikes. New to Rotorua, he loves that the city centre is so close to the lakes and forest, and how outdoor activities are a part of daily life in the local community. When not at work, Felipe is spinning wheels on the bike, at the lake, or out with his beautiful Chilean girlfriend.

Elliot loves the locality of Rotorua – being in the central mecca means family come from all over to visit him and his brothers in his home town. You can find Elliot bringing the party at the rental site on the weekend, or perfecting our display’s in the HQ.

Elliot brings experience to visitors from all over the world; he is a total people-person, and loves the inclusive team environment at EBR. E-bikes allow him to go out riding without extra pressures. In his spare time, Elliot enjoys hitting the gym, baking with mum, and hanging out with his family.
